Jody Bio:

Jody is a proud Colorado native, and naturally has an affinity for the outdoors and anything adrenaline provoking. Jody is new to the firearms competition scene and has competed in USPSA and 3Gun the past year, but she is no rookie when it comes to firearms. Jody’s passion for firearms started at the age of 14 as a Law Enforcement Explorer. But just like other first time shooters, she wasn’t always comfortable with guns, if you ask her about the first time she went shooting she will tell you she was anxious and nervous, but after that initial shot, she was hooked.  Growing up as an explorer she had the amazing mentorship of some of the best Emergency Response Team Officers and Firearms Instructors in the area. This lead to a strong background in firearms safety, and handling. Her passion lies in empowering and educating other women, helping them overcome their fear or anxiety about firearms, improving their skills, challenging them to train, and doing so in a safe and enriching environment.

Cindy Bio:

Cindy was born and raised in a small town in NE Texas. In her pre-teen years, she shot competition skeet with her father and went hunting for hog, deer, dove, and quail. In 2012, after her divorce, she started shooting USPSA as well as 3Gun in late 2014. She also currently holds NRA certification as an  NRA Instructor (Certified Pistol) and Range Safety Officer. As a former victim of sexual assault, she understands the importance of being able to defend yourself in any situation. Helping to empower and educate other women to defend themselves is a true passion for Cindy. When Cindy isn’t shooting or spending valuable time with her son, you will probably find her in the mountains hiking, snowboarding or just hanging out with friends.
